Watch the documentaries ″Chaos″ and ″Nova Great Math Mystery″ on YouTube. They are two documentaries on mathematical subjects. Each is just under an hour in length. Watch them both and write a composition comparing them. In some ways they are different: style, depth of presentation, focus, comprehensibility, appeal, answering the question they posed, entertainment value, etc., and in some ways they are similar. Please DO NOT write a composition that merely summarizes the contents of the documentary. ( I have just watched both of them and I am familiar with their contents). Go beyond that and make a comparison.
Links to the documentaries are below.
length 700 word minimum to 1100 word maximum describing your viewpoint about the documentaries.
Everyone in the class has either completed or is taking an English composition class, so writing a college level essay should be within every students capability. However I want to share some information that was written on the blackboard of a classroom.
Composition hints:
Introductory paragraph: Tell then what you are going to tell them.
Body of composition: Tell them.
Concluding paragraph: Tell them what you told them.
I often suggest that you write the body of the composition first, then write a three or so sentence introductory paragraph, and then write a three or so sentence concluding paragraph. Put them together in proper order, read it again, make any final corrections, and submit it.
Please double space all submissions.

Edinaman Company (Edinaman) currently processes seafood with a unit purchased several years go. The unit which originally cost $500,000, currently has a book value of $250,000. Edinaman is considering replacing the existing unit with a newer, more efficient one. The new unit will cost $700,000 and will require additional $50,000 for delivery and installation and require Edinaman to increase initial net working capital (NWC) by $40,000. The new unit will be depreciated on a straight line basis over 5 years to zero balance. Edinaman expects to sell the existing unit for $275,000. Edinaman’s marginal tax rate is 40%.If Edinaman purchases the new unit, its annual revenues are expected to increase by $100,000 (due to increased processing capacity) and its annual operating costs are expected to decrease by $20,000. Annual revenues and operating costs are expected to remain constant at this new level over the 5-year life of the project. After 5 years, the new unit will be completely depreciated and expected to be sold for $70,000.
· Calculate Edinaman’s Payback period and Profitability Index of the project. (5 points)
· What is Edinaman’s NPV? Should the project be accepted or reject? (2.5 points)
· Assuming Edinaman own’s 80 percent of the company; how does the net present value (NPV) decision rule relate to the primary goal of financial management, which is creating wealth for Edinaman? (2.5 points).

Questions I want to address:
<

Briefly summarize the article. What questions are trying to be addressed in this survey?
<

Describe the sample and sampling method for the survey in the article. Do you have any questions about how the sample was obtained? What additional information would you be interested to see about the sample? Does the article discuss any potential issues with their sample?
<

Describe how the data is presented in the article. Do you think the data presentation is effective, or did you find it confusing to understand? Do you think it might be misleading in some way, or do you think it is transparent? Is there anything potentially wrong you could take away from the article or data if you only looked briefly at the data visualization?
<

Did the data visualization help or hurt you understanding of the corresponding text in the article? Would you change it in anyway?
<

How could the presentation of this article have been improved? Do you think the article’s conclusion is well-supported? What follow up questions do you have that you would like to see addressed moving forward?

Details are in the file. If you have any questions please email me. This is very difficult and takes a lot of time. Might have to graph and upload it. I put 2 pages so you can get more money since it’s pretty difficult. Desmos is a free graphing website. If you are really good at/like math this should be an easy 80 bucks. The due date is December 12th at 11:59 P.M. so it can be turned in after whatever time the original deadline it says as long as it’s before the due date I chose 12 hours as bonus money since this assignment is difficult.

Scenario
You have been hired by the Regional Real Estate Company to help them analyze real estate data. One of the company’s Pacific region salespeople just returned to the office with a newly designed advertisement. The average cost per square foot of home sales based on this advertisement is $280. The salesperson claims that the average cost per square foot in the Pacific region is less than $280. In other words, he claims that the newly designed advertisement would result in higher average cost per square foot in the Pacific Region. He wants you to make sure he can make that statement before approving the use of the advertisement. In order to test his claim, you will generate a random sample size of 750 using data for the Pacific region and use this data to perform a hypothesis test.Generate a sample of size 750 using data for the Pacific region. Then, design a hypothesis test and interpret the results using significance level α = .05. You will work with this sample in the assignment. Briefly describe how you generated your random sample.Use the House Listing Price by Region Spreadsheet document and the National Summary Statistics and Graphs House Listing Price by Region PDF documents to help support your work on this assignment.
